The damaged part of your tooth will be removed, preparing it for restoration.
The cavity will be thoroughly cleaned and dried before the material is placed in small increments and is hardened using a special light. Composite resin comes in many different shades, and it is likely several different colours will be used to get an exact match with your tooth especially when we are restoring a front tooth.
Once all the filling material is in place, it will be carefully shaped and polished to give a natural appearance that should blend in beautifully with your tooth so the filling is virtually invisible.
